Prof. Dr. M. Gehde-Trapp

Prof. Dr. Monika Gehde-Trapp is professor in the area of finance at the University of Tübingen. Before she was Professor of Risk Management at the University of Hohenheim. Previously, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Cologne, as a guest researcher at the Stern School of Business of New York University, at the Bundesbank in Frankfurt, and as a research assistant at the Department of Business Administration and Finance at the University Mannheim. After studying business mathematics at the University of Trier, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Ulm University, Monika Gehde-Trapp graduated in 2008 at the University of Mannheim with a thesis on bond and credit default swap (CDS) markets. Her areas of research interest include credit-, liquidity- and systemic risks as well as asset management. Her research has been published in internationally renowned journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics and the Journal of Banking and Finance and has been presented at national and international finance conferences ( DGF, VHB, EFMA, FMA, EFA, WFA).
